WALKING TOUR and the Arctic Henge
Step into Iceland’s most enigmatic monument
This tour allows visitors to explore all the main spots in Raufarhöfn and to reach the northern hill where the distinctive henge, now icon of the village, is located. The Arctic Henge works like a huge sundial and thrills every visitor.

SIGHTSEEING and BIRDWATCHING in Melrakkaslétta
Explore one of the least travelled areas of the country
Melrakkaslétta includes the northernmost areas of Iceland’s mainland (Hraunhafnartangi) and is among the least discovered frontiers. Here time seems to have stopped and, not least, this is a marvelous region for nature and bird lovers.

From the endless prairie to the majestic canyon
